Take 2 Performing Arts Academy

We are a family-run, performing arts school based at The Academy Theatre, Barnsley, where students of all ages can discover their love for singing, dancing, acting, and music.

With a real working theatre as our home, performing on stage feels natural and exciting for our students, giving them the confidence to shine.

Many of our students have even gone on to perform professionally, including in West End shows and Cruise Ship contracts - but whether you dream of a career on stage or just want to have fun, there’s a place here for you.

From age 4 right through to adult groups, everyone is welcome to join us and enjoy the magic of Performing Arts. Unlike many theatre schools, we don’t hold auditions to join — we believe the performing arts should be open and accessible to everyone.
